Fnan & Micheal

On a cloudy, then turned sunny day on June 21st 2018, I documented the love and marriage of Fnan and Micheal at Youngberg Hill Winery in Mcminnville Oregon. This couple is the sweetest most easy going couple you could ever hope for. When I met them last year for their engagement session, I felt an instant connection with them like I had known them for years. We laughed and carried on our whole session and I just knew that their wedding day was going to be something special. I was right. This day was an absolute favorite of mine and I am so excited to share it with you!

Details / Getting Ready

Fnan and Micheal got ready seperately in the presence of their closest friends and family. Both of them were super calm and never once showed signs of nervousness. You could tell they were ready to DO THIS!

First Look

We chose to do first look overlooking the beautiful wine countryside. This is always one of my favorite wedding day moments. The anticipation of them finally being together always has me giddy. After they saw each other and took it all in, Micheal privately read Fnan some special vows he wrote for her and it gave me all the feels.

Ceremony

Shortly after first look, the sun came out and guests started gathering for the ceremony. A soft strumming guitar played a beautiful melody as everyone came down the isle. The bride’s sweet little nephew absolutely stole the show with his cuteness. Followed by the stunning bride herself! It was absolutely perfect.

Officially married! Mr. & Mrs. Gawenka!

Family & Bridal Party

These two families coming together was so amazing to watch. You can tell that these two are going to have an amazing support net through their marriage. The bridal party was SO much fun and I loved capturing all the love these two have for their friends. Of course I could have posted the ones where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera but what fun would that be?!

Fnan & Micheal

Snuck in a swing ride and some orchard lovin before the reception started!

Reception

This was by far one of the coolest experiences I have had as a wedding photographer to date. The bride’s family is from Ethiopia and Fnan told me that they would be doing a cultural dance to start off the reception. I had no idea what I was about to photograph but it quickly turned into the best money dance/party ever! I had SO much fun shooting this part of the day!

King and Queen for the day.

First Dances

We stepped outside for first dances as the sun slowly went over the hillside and left us with a soft warm glow.

PARTY TIME!

Thank you Fnan and Micheal for sharing your amazing day with me! It was truly special and one I will always remember and cherish. I can’t wait to capture your family as it grows!
